Suva Foreshore
A team of designers, led by Peter Rankin, entered a design in the Foreshore Design Competition, and was awarded first place. The design was located on a prime site, on the foreshore edge of Suva City. The design proposed integrating pedestrian links along the foreshore. This is something that does not exist at the moment and its implementation could revitalize the foreshore. The proposal also included the strategic planning and location of buildings along the foreshore that responded directly to the views and environment that exists along the foreshore. The complex consisted of retails precincts, and commercial and hotel towers. Project done by Peter Rankin whilst at Architects Pacific Design Partnership.
