The Fiji Women’s Crisis Center stands as a significant three-story commercial edifice located prominently at the intersection of Gordon and Thurston Street in the heart of the CBD. The architectural planning of this structure was meticulously crafted to address the specific needs of women during times of stress and crisis, providing a secure refuge when safety is paramount. Funded by AUSAid, this project represented an investment of approximately two million dollars, underscoring its importance and impact within the community. Designed under the stewardship of Peter Rankin during his tenure at another firm, the building embodies a commitment to architectural excellence and social responsibility, serving as a testament to thoughtful design in response to critical societal needs.

      Savusavu Market

Under Construction, the Savusavu Market is a dynamic addition to the local landscape, designed as a two-storey building to cater to diverse community needs. The ground level of this bustling structure will host a vibrant array of amenities including market vendors offering fresh produce and local wares, cozy coffee shops inviting patrons to linger, an accessible information booth, a bustling handicraft center showcasing local artistry, and convenient kiosks for quick snacks and essentials. Meanwhile, Level 1 will accommodate SME vendors eager to showcase their products, alongside additional kiosks and conference rooms ideal for community gatherings and business meetings. The design prioritizes accessibility with public conveniences and disability-compliant facilities, ensuring inclusivity for all visitors. An elevator provides seamless access to the first floor, reinforcing the market’s commitment to accessibility and convenience in this evolving community hub.
